An update for the class: I had the date incorrect for my daughter-in-law’s case before SCOTUS. (My son had told me Oct. 7 but I guess he got his lucky numbers confused.) After our YC’62 Zoom session I looked at the case schedule myself at http://www.scotusblog.com, and found that actually the death penalty case is being heard today, i.e., Wednesday, Oct.13. My daughter-in-law’s name is Ginger Anders. I believe she will do the oral argument against reinstating the death penalty for Tsarnaev. She had considerably experience before the Court when she worked for the Solicitor General during Obama. My son says she is a demon for preparation.
